Throw out the last two games from Cleveland as both were low scoring but that was because neither team could really move the football in the heavy Wind and Rain. There is a chance of Rain in the forecast but not a heavy downpour. The Philly defense has allowed 21 or more points in all but 1 game this year. I expect a shootout in with better weather conditions. PROJECTED TOTAL POINTS 53 as my 4% NFL TOTAL GAME OF THE WEEK.

Just like our New England play we are getting a team that is playing their best football right now but the Oddsmakers and public hasn’t caught up to them yet. Miami is improving each game on both sides of the ball. I’ll admit I questioned why Miami switched to Tua over Fitzpatrick but now I see this Miami team playing with a Swagger they didn’t have before and that’s because the players believe in Tua and the coaching staff. Denver on the other hand is a team going in the opposite direction right now. The Offense is down right offensive. I don’t see how Denver trades points with Miami. MIAMI 27-16 as my 4% NFL GAME OF THE WEEK.

5% NFL GAME OF THE MONTH - NEW ENGLAND (ML -130)
When I first saw this line I thought Vegas was over reacting to New England’s Win on Sunday Night Football. As New England went from a small dog to small favorite. But as the week went on and I dug deeper I see that New England has been a different team over the last 3 games and it’s all because of their running game. That’s Bad News for Houston as they rank dead last in stopping the run. Sitting at 4-5 the Pats can get back in the playoff race with a win here. I love taking a team that has clawed their way back to get to .500. Getting to .500 with a win today is a huge motivation for New England. NEW ENGLAND 31-24 as my 5% NFL GAME OF THE MONTH.

Market update


1 p.m. ET: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

This line opened with New Orleans listed as a 7-point favorite. But we've seen a massive adjustment with the news that Drew Brees will miss this game due to injury and Taysom Hill will start in his place. The quarterback switch, along with some sharp Falcons money, has dropped this line down to Saints -3.5. The Falcons have value as a road divisional dog with a line move in their favor (14-7 ATS, 67% this season). Atlanta also has a rest advantage as they are coming off a bye and New Orleans is on regular rest.

Sharp action has also hit this under, dropping the total from 51.5 to 49.



1 p.m. ET: Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Football Team

This line opened at a pick'em. A slight majority of bets are backing Cincinnati, but respected money has come in on Alex Smith at home over visiting rookie Joe Burrow, pushing this line up to Washington -1.5. Washington has value as a buy-low "bad" ATS team against a sell-high "good" ATS team. If you're wary of laying the points in what could be a close game, Washington is roughly -125 on the moneyline here.

Sharps have hit this over, pushing the total up slightly from 46 to 46.5.



4:25 p.m. ET: Green Bay Packers at Indianapolis Colts

This line originally opened with Green Bay listed as a 2.5-point road favorite. The public says give me the Packers, yet we've seen a massive adjustment toward Indianapolis, with sharp money flipping the Colts from a dog to 1.5-point favorite. Indianapolis even reached -2.5 at one point before. The Colts have value as a contrarian favorite in a "fade the trendy dog" situation. Indianapolis also has a rest advantage as they last played on Thursday while the Packers are on regular rest.

We've also seen pro money hit this over, pushing the total up from 49 to 51.5.
